Statement of Faith
It is the glory of God to conceal a thing:
but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
(Proverbs 25:2)
Faith in the Future Foundation does not seek members, nor are we affiliated with any organized church or denomination. Our purpose is to direct people to God through the Bible. There is no mediator [minister or church organization] between any living person and God other than Jesus Christ - Yeshua the Messiah. A person does not need to follow our fallible attempts to explore and explain Scripture in order to inherit the Promises made to all humanity through Abraham, Israel and Jesus/Yeshua.
Faith in the Future Foundation takes the risks of being wrong to search out some areas of knowledge that intersect with faith. Being human, we will make mistakes. That is no excuse not to try to press the boundaries of current understanding about the material and spiritual Creation, prophecy or health. We do not hold these scientific explorations as being on the level of doctrine. They cannot save us from our sins and mortality, but a better understanding of God's plan for humanity and how the Creation is structured may actively contribute to a more productive life today as well as contribute to the preservation and viability of the natural environment, which is the obligation of all humanity. A spiritually congruent life seeking to better understand the ways of God also aids the spread of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God in Messiah Jesus.
Hence, our Statement of Faith is simple. How each of us puts the principles below to work in his or her personal life varies. Life is a growth experience that occurs at different rates of consciousness and behavior modification. The most important thing is to be on the only guaranteed spiritual way to a good eternity, which is based on these points:
-
The Bible is God’s word or testimony, the divine revelation of His will and purpose for life. It is the written expression of His Spirit.
-
Personal faith in Jesus the Messiah and obedience to God's Word, according to one's understanding, is the only way to receive the Holy Spirit of God, who is the presence of the Father and the Son in the believer, creating a new life that will last for eternity.
-
The Holy Spirit is required for continued growth in spiritual matters such as overcoming sin (a changed life today) and a better understanding of the Bible.
Faith in the Future Foundation considers itself a delivery service for the good news of God’s coming kingdom without respect to persons or organizations. A believer's "citizenship is in heaven." The directors do not endorse or support any political party, military operation, forced conversion or change of religious or philosophical beliefs, national entity or any activity that seeks to bring biblical prophecies to pass in this world and time. God is Almighty and able to bring about His prophecies without dependence on human works. He alone can judge the mortal heart and determine a person's spiritual condition and future in eternity.
